[IMG] I have played Torment for thousands of times and always the installation went without any problems. This time though, as i was playing it i noticed that all of the people in the game turn invisible and visible from time to time.

Perhaps because i copied the game from a copy that was copied from the original version(note: copying was done only for my own use from an original game which i possesed. Even if it wouldnt, it would not harm anybody because the company is dead and the game not released any more) and some files got missing. Can it be? I also installed the latest patch.

    Help...

Maybe the game just has some issues with your graphics card or drivers. But if you've got missing files, natually you must have expected the game not to work... it's a small miracle it's working at all.

I assume that you have the four-CD version and not the two-CD version.

What are the specs of your system?

Check out this thread or this one.

Both suggest that it's a common problem if you're using certain drivers - try using an older set.

I had this problem with the latest NVidia drivers. I solved it by going into my video options and turning on software mirroring. Turns out NVidia drivers don't seem to support the PS:T hardware mirroring for sprites.
