Is Icewind Dale any good?

    [​IMG] Yes. It's more hack and slash dungeon crawl than BG and there isn't any NPC's that join your party as you make the entire party yourself, and hence no interparty banter.
    All in all though a very good game that's quite a challenge, has an interesting story, and the expansions for it are great:D. My only problem with it was that like the difference in BG and BG2, the map has no 'wilderness' areas like in BG, the map's the same style as BG2.

    I did forget to say that you can buy IWD and the Heart of Winter expansion in a single set (about £30 iirc), and the Trials of the Luremaster expansion is free off many PC magazine coverdisks, or downloadable from the net:).

    Looks like it's $59.99 for the IWD and HOW bundle pack through Amazon.com, all i had to do was click on Tal's link:).
    It's well worth the money though Dark Xan:D
