    [​IMG] ...does this message board have a tendency to NOT write messages when you post them?
    For example my "favorite characther" topic. I posted it 2 times because the first did not show up...and now it has?! :confused

    From what I can tell, the messages are ALWAYS posted, they just don't always show up in your browser until you refresh (reload) the page.

    My guess (at least in my case) is that the browser is caching the page and rather than displaying the updated page with the new info, it grabs the old cached one...

    [​IMG] its something we have to live with i'm afraid...but other then that, Sorcerers place is just the best aint it? Of course its even better then the best when we get fights! A real crowd pleaser! ;)

    It also might have to do with your browser. In Netscape, it usually makes me close my browser and re-start the application before I can see my posts. In Microsoft Explorer, however, they appear immediately. Explorer usually freezes every few minutes on me though, so I don't use it.

    Really Sapiryl? Even if you hit the reload button in Netscape you don't get them? That seems strange...

    In Internet Explorer, there are settings that you can change if you want. You can choose when to check for new versions of pages. Your choices are Never, Every Time You Visit a Page, and Every Time You Start Internet Explorer (at least in version 4.0 which is what I have at work; the choices were slightly different in version 5.0 at home).

    I thought that has happened to me once or twice as well. Although I write most of my topics at three or four in the morning, so I can't remember really anything.
