Is there a way to make a multi or dual class use blades?

    Confusing? I've poked a little at trying to turn the Ager's Hide into studded leather and thus reducing the thieving penalties. Just a little poke so far but I'll keep at it from time to time :)

    you could just put the immune to confusion effect on armor the thief can wear without penalties :p

    It also has + 15% to cold, fire & acid.
    I didn't know you can "make" your own stuff :)

    Yeah, under the edit tab, you can find a button "Add.." then select "Add effect" and double-click the new effect line it adds, and you can edit it to suit your needs.

    to creat an immunity from confusion effect, you'd need to change the "Type" to "immunity to effect (101)" and the "Effect" to "Confusion (128) and "Probability 1" with a value of 100.

    It's probably best to copy effects from other items, so you're sure you fill out all the fields with the right information. :D
    Also, if you do edit a piece of armor/weapon, i'd only do so to a unique one, you don't want to change all normal leather armors to give immunity to confusion for example.

    I also don't know if enemies actually get the bonuses from the gear they drop (assuming the game considers them wearing it) so it might be best to stick to those items you can get at shops or forged at cromwell, or that are looted from containers only.

    All that being said, if you want to make your own stuff, you should consider using DLTCEP instead. NI is more of a file explorer; You can edit a bunch of stuff with it, but it's not really a development tool.

    And how do you tell what the thief skills is at? They all have odd numbers net to them.
