IWD AI > BG2 AI

    I find that with HOW installed and patched that the AI in IWD is much better than in the BG series.

    For instance in the lower Dorn's Deep and Severed Hand and some other places that engagement with the enemies in one section, brings the entire population of the room running to help.

    Some exceptions I've found is that the bladed skeletons in the room the with alter don't all come at you unless they have seen you - being mindless undead I guess that is not so bad - still you would think the clerics in their casting circles would be able to direct them all - would be a bitch of a fight if they did, espeically with those mummys casting hopeless. I find that most of guys don't save against that spell. Cost me a couple raise deads.

    Also in the ice giant cave, they don't assist each other so one has to use good roleplay to not cheat the AI by hiding in the fog of war to cheese them out.
