    anybody know of a WORKING link to download the latest patch? Every link I have tried was not working.

    They're not dead, but Interplay's FTPs only operate about half of the day. Find out when they do and download it then.

    If you're getting HoW you don't need the patch anyway. HoW contains all fixes.

    I saw there was a 4 MB HoW patch at Interplay.com. It didn't say anything about versions or others, but should I download it?

    I have downloaded the patch as soon as I got HOW. Don't know if it's the patch, but HOW is VERY unstable compared to plain IWD.

    Hmmm, I've played IWD:HOW both without the patch and with it. I had no problems with stability either way...

    I'd say get the patch as it fixes a number of items in the game that weren't working as they should've been.

    well, I just got HoW yesterday, so Im not worried about the IWD patch anymore. will move on to the HoW patch.
