[IMG] I eventually purchased Jedi Knight 2 yesterday during my wonderful lunch hour.

When i loaded it up last night, i set up the options how i LIKE them, which isn't up to the highest resolutions, but high enough to have perfectly chrisp graphics.

However, i was a touch dissapointed in single player mission when i came up against a group of stormtroopers as the graphics went a bit jerky (not massive but certainly noticable).

Also, with EAX turned on, the sound had gliches every 10 seconds or so.

Anyone else have these problems or know what i can do about it??

I was running the game at 1152x864 resolution, high graphics detail. On an AMD Athlon 2000XP, 512mbDDR ram, Geforce3(64mb), SoundBlaster Audigy.
(As far as i'm concerned, this is way above the required spec to play the game).

Drop that resolution down to 1024x768. With that GF3, you can probably pull 32 bit color, but it'll be close in a few spots.

Also, turn OFF fast writes. You've got 64meg of video card; don't let the OS and BIOS tell you that system memory is required. Like windows uses the page file, when there's still 300meg of ram unused.

    cheers ej.

Is there a simpler way of saying what you said? How do i find out if windows uses the page file (what is a page file)?
I know it might be a dumb question but i normally dont go into experimenting with that stuff coz i always used to completely screw up my old pc. Hence, i don't entirely understand. ;)
