    Any shopkeeper - examine the item, click identify and you'll be charged 100gp for the privilege.

    Alternatively buy a potion of lore or scroll of identify if there's more than one thing to be identified (rather than paying 100gp for each) and do them all at once yourself.

    It does in NWN :)
    It raises your lore for 3 seconds, you pause, and sort through your inventory at leisure.

    Right, if your lore ability is high enough, you automatically ID the item yourself ==> intelligence boosting potions will help...
