Just where are those IWD portraits anyway?

    [​IMG] Are they somewhere in the CHITIN.KEY or somewhere else?

    I'm trying to find them to WinBiff them out and save/use them in other games. Dale Keeper doesn't extract them like Shadow Keeper does. :(

    And I know they may be downloaded from somewhere on this site but I wanted to see if I could extract them myself.

    But I have to find them first! :cool:

    The large and small portrait dimensions in IWD2 are completely different, but the images for the large ones are identical in IWD2 in terms of what is in picture as in IWD1. I have no idea where you got that cropped version, but the one in the game files for IWD2 is the same as in IWD1.

    I downloaded a package of protraits from here called IWD 2 protraits.

    That were's I got the the cropped versions.

    There are two downloads called:
    32 Female Icewind Dale 2 Portraits
    51 Male Icewind Dale 2 Portraits

    I just assumed they were the exact IWD 2 protraits but I guess they were changed by someone who prefers closer face shots. I haven't played IWD 2 yet but am glad they are the same.

    Ah, that explains it. Yes, they must have been cropped to focus more on the face.
