    With the Kivan romance mod, I have a compound question.

    What items do I need to upgrade his spear and bow and to whom do I speak about the upgrade?

    Spear? Don't know.

    Bow: there's an elf in the Docks District (outside, bottom center, right on the edge of the docks) who will upgrade the bow. IIRC by the time you get the item needed for the upgrade the weapon is pretty much obsolete - Longbows already available in the game are significantly more powerful. (But of course, the sense of accomplishment may be more important than raw power for many players, right Kuemper? ;) )

    EDIT: I forget the exact item required, sorry.

    I seem to recall a lock of Nymph's Hair being used to upgrade the bow. However, Luiz is correct- by this point you will likely have come into contact with more powerful bows.

    I wasn't aware that his spear could be upgraded.

    Last time I played through, which was my first time, I didn't know anything and equipped him with what I'd give Minsc.

    So that's what that elf is for. :lol:
