How few characters have you been able to complete the game with? I will try now with troll, dragon and necro. Wonder if this will work, and if I will get tired of D2 so that I have some time playing.

Never really got into the M&M series. I bought M&M 3 but I didn't really get very far in terms of the story. My characters were crazy ass levels though as I found a sweet spot of odd Knights that I'd kill over and over again and just gain level over and over again. Eventually I bought the hint book and learned I had to travel back in time or something. I never finished it.

I also bought M&M 6. Same thing. Didn't get very far. Original ideas though, but just not my cup of tea in terms of an RPG. Way, WAY too many creatures to have to fight.

I've done it with just a necro and a paladin.
Pretty damn tough though, mainly because there are so many monsters to kill.
