I accidentally uninstalled Planescape's folder without first deleting it from the add/remove section.

Now i cant install it, unistall or play PS:T. Is there some way i can remove every trace of PS:T and install it again? Some program perhaps?

Technically you should be able to reinstall it, by running the install executable directly off the CD (as opposed to the autorun). However if you want to remove all traces of the game, you'll have to edit the Windows registry (using Regedit. Go to Start Menu > Run and type "regedit" to run it) and remove all keys associated with the game. Doing so isn't very recommended if you're not familiar with the registry, since editing the wrong key can seriously mess up your Windows installation.

Is it possible to uninstall the program from the Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs? If you can do that, you should be able to install it again.

If not, maybe you can use a restoration point if you have Windows XP. Choose Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restoration.

Uninstall the program from the Control Panel then go into 'MY Computer-->Program Files" if there is still a folder there then using your secondary button bring up the menu that lists various things you can do. Find delete, click on that, answer 'yes' to if you really want to delete.

If that doesn't work come back and tell and maybe someone will come up another solutuin,

I suspect Ziad is right. With CD 1 in your drive, try Start > Run > [CD drive]\setup.exe. That should allow you to overwrite the existing files and registry entries, creating essentially a fresh install.

If that doesn't work, you can try EasyCleaner to get rid of the registry entries rather than directly editing the registry yourself: http://toniarts.com/products.php?PHPSESSID=7add121fdc64ad025ba2d707e727c93d

I cant believe how stupid i was. All that was needed to be done was to open the CD and clicking on the installation.

    Thanks Ziad!
