Mage and INT over 18

    Hi there,

    There are quite a few items in the game that raise intelligence.
    I'm wondering if there are any benefits for a mage if the INT is raised over 18 (besides a higher chance to scribe scrolls)?

    That and unlimited spells known -- but I don't think that's an issue in IWD.

    There are more than 18 level 2 and level 4 spells, so you need at least temporary 19 int for learning all spells in the game.

    yeh good strategy that. I'd rather have the spell and not use it, that not have it and need it.


    thats how I roll in BGII, learn a spell just for the EXP it gives you, even if I wont ever use it, Find Familar or something, only the PC can use that spell, and I don't go mages very often.
