mage trouble

    [​IMG] I have tried several time to become a mage.
    the problem is that when i raise a level after changeing style it pops up with a window, i dont know what this window is for and it wont go away, and i cant do anything for as long as its there(which is forever) I would be happy if someone here could tell me what im doing wrong.

    [​IMG] I had this trouble when I tried ArtEchoke's trick of turning my mage into a psychotic killer by giving him the Gauntlets of Teeth (it was a really ancient thread on this board, the basic gist of it being that you could give your mage a pair of really amazing - cursed - gauntlets that wouldn't come off when you changed from a warrior to a mage, therefore giving your mage a decent weapon). The window came up when I tried to level up and it basically crashed the game. If you're holding a cursed weapon / item that's not meant for your character class, then you have to remove it before levelling up or that window will come up. Hope this helps.
