Lots of weapons have magical effects. For example DC14 Daze 75%/2 rounds. How shall I interpret this? If the target can't roll the DC I have 75% chance to apply the Daze spell?

And what about theese spells for example Daze and Sleep can harm only monsters less than 5 hit dice. Is this means if a monster has 6d8 HP than my Namarra Neversleep wont be able to Daze it? Or it is calculated different way in case of weapons?

you have a 75% chance to "cast" daze on hit on the struck target, the cast will have a dc of 14.

Well, dunno about the last point, but then im never using these types of weapons anyway. Damage for the win...

The effects aren't applied as the spells of the same name.

Meaning, a daze spell may only affect a creature of 5 hd or less, but if your sword hits a 10 hd monster, and he blows his save, you're still going to apply that effect.

I think they screwed up Neversleep +2 vs. Neversleep +1.

The +1 has a 75% chance of Daze while the +2 has a 50% chance of Sleep.

Not only is the 50% worse than 75% but IMO Sleep is worse than Daze because as soon as you hit a sleeping monster, they wake up!

I love Daze with my Rogue; automatic sneak attacks without having to sneak!

Yes, this was the point of my question. Because I am playing rogue too and I worried about my ultimate weapon... :)

    Thanks!
