Can anyone list the locations of the stat-increasing manuals scattered around the game? I've never managed to find them all.

    D'oh!

Well, I blame BioWare for using the "let's stick a cheesily difficult dungeon in the expansion pack" schtick twice in as many games! :shake:

    Editing... :p

That one in Ramaziths tower is fairly hard for me aswell Shaitan, as I generally have to rearrange my party so my tanks absorb the 5 or 6 arrows from the kobold commandos and hobgoblins that normally strike my mage with deadly results

Or, just send only one up the stairs at first, and have the rest follow once everyone's locked onto him. There's no "party requirement" for the area transitions inside of the tower.

Yeah Fel, but I don't like that way of RPing - I guess it's a personal thing :p

You put the tank at the front in every other situation. How is this different? The tank always leads, no matter the situation, whether you're travelling down a road south of Beregost, tromping through a mine, or climbing a tower to face some mage who just zapped you with a Lightning Bolt before disappearing. The fact that there's an "area transition" involved doesn't mean squat to RP.

Yes I get your point, but I try to pretend not knowing every enemy in front. But I'll consider as peeping through a keyhole or sort of at least :)

Nothing is a problem for me anymore. I've got Xan so beefed up on protective magics and my level 5 ranger is killing most things in 1 arrow. Oh and Imoen scouts. Plus Xan also doubles as a melee (Ain't that just the most f***ed up thing you ever did see? A 7 Con enchanter going in a melee?)

    ^ Wrong thread, maybe?

One last question: how do I get the second tome of wisdom from the priest? That is, without killing everyone.

    By pickpocketing!

Oh, and my battle with Ramazith was somewhat... anti-climactic, when I encountered him on my Garrett-themed run through. I managed to hit the area transition before he spoke, slaughtered his monsters & looted the top floor before going back. I followed him up the tower, and when I got there... Well, it was quick. Edwin let loose a Magic Missile, Ramazith began his final speech (with the 4 glowing projectiles just hanging in mid-air under pause), and when the dialogue finished they hit, and he died. :shake:

Mind you, that kind of thing was common in BG, when wizards had so few HPs that you could blow on 'em and they'd drop dead. That, and wherever you were going was uphill. Both ways. In the snow. :geezer:
