There's currently a special Neverwinter event/festival called the Masquerade of Liars which celebrates "illusion, trickery and deceit". While celebrated in a manner very similar to Halloween, since just about every FR-related event that happens in-game is closely monitored/regulated/facilitated by WotC representatives the lore behind this event makes me wonder.

What makes the festival interesting is that it honors Mask, god of thieves, and Leira, goddess of illusion, trickery and deceit - both of whom are dead powers (Mask gave up his divinity, Leira was supposedly slain by Shar). Considering that it's very unlikely that the lord of Neverwinter would openly endorse a festival dedicated to Shar (who supposedly holds both portfolios, and who's basically FR's Emperor Palpatine) I think the event hints that, somehow, Leira survived.
It's interesting because Leira's death was supposedly the goddess' best illusion/trick yet. Three editions later though and she has yet to resurface.

Just thought I should share this.

    Update:
Lore has been retconned. Mask kills Leira before giving up his divinity to Shar. The best illusion/trick thing is now being attributed to him. Extremely disappointing.
Anyway Mask appears very briefly during the festival, hinting that some small shred of his divinity still exists somewhere. WotC shouldn't have bothered. All that waiting for nothing.
Mask should just die and stay dead.
