They show it on news here, something about tail and foot disease as well. Apparently the thing spreads from pigs to sheep and cows. Looks like UK will be all vegetarian soon :)

U r always welcome to import the premium quality Australian beef, don't settle for the second best one from America :D And the other thing, if any of u people from UK are thinking of coming to Australia and donating blood - u can't! Banned from donating, no more free orange juice for u!

Will you guys accept Scandinavian Blood down under or is it enough to disqulify me just having lived in the UK for 15 years? Don't think we ever made it quite that far down in the good ol' days 'bout a thousand or so years back. Could of course rally the troops for a late show?

As far as BSE (MadCowDesease) goes, I reckon the North American animals have so much wird stuff pumped into 'em anyway for faster, bigger, better etc meat that there really won't be much brain left in them to go crazy!
    Pre-cooked so to speak!

Don't call our cows too stupid to go crazy. They're that way for a reason. You see, when all your bodies are decayed and long gone, ours will be wonderfully preserved due to all the chemicals we add to our food to enhance our dining pleasure. So if it becomes possible for a human body to be revived from death, by human means, there will be a huge increase in the US population, muahahaha

I don't remember catching much news about the disease, but I remember seeing a Saturday Night Live show based on it. :D

Here in Canada, we heard qui much about it. We have no problem about that here, but they say that they stopped importing beef from England, Brasil. etc. Nothing much.
