Hi all, I was just thinking about making a new epic char for NWN... What I was wondering was, if a wizard is hidden and casts silenced and quickened spells, will he be revealed again?

If you are hiding by stealth then any casting of a spell will reveal you, even if metamagiced to be silent and stilled and quickened. If you are invisibile by spell, then certain types of spells will not reveal you while others will. If you directly target an enemy with an attack spell, you will be revealed. If the spell is defensive or just affects the caster, you will not be revealed.

Only one meta-magic feat can be applied to a spell in NWN. Therefore, you cannot cast silenced and quickened spells. :( Guess your concept needs a little more work.

BigStick, he clearly mentioned his build would be epic. That means he can have the Auto-Still/Silent/Quicken feats. Those make that ALL his spells will be Still, Silent and Quickened. And that is only when he casts the spells memorised as normal spells. He can even add a 4th metamagic by memorising them with the right feat.

Ah yes, Meatdog, you are correct. As you can tell, I don't really play epic casters. I'd forgotten about the auto-metamagics.
