[IMG] Ok I have a Player who want to play a Drow monk and thinking ahead I Had a question.
When Monks Gain spell resistance does this take precident over, stack with, that of being a drow or do you simply use the higher.

The higher would be used, it would just be so that he has a higher than avergae resistance over other Drow, but why a Drow Monk?, has he been kicked out from his underdark?.
Seek asylum and absolution with the Monks?

There could be monks in the underdark. Monks have to be lawful, but they can be evil. There are monks in drow society too, ya know.

A lawful drow? Ah, well, can't be as bad as that chaotic good one running around waving those two scimitars though. :p

I'de say the large majority of drow would be lawful, it would be quite hard to stay abreast of the deep intrigue of the drow society without a fairly level head.

I'm pretty sure the majority of Drow are of the chaotic kind, without being able to quote it out of any sourcebook right now.

EDIT: I was wrong. Seems the Monster Manual says "Usually Neutral Evil".

Ok this is interesting and I foud out that the drows would be higher than a monks
    Drow: 11+ class level
    Monk: 10+ monk level
(acording to MM and PHB respectevly)

still you might think it could stack werdly such 10+ 1.5 monk level
to make them for resistent to spells that standard drow like a monk is to everything else

I'd say they don't stack. Only the highest one, the drow SR, applies.

Looks like Sean K. Reynolds agrees with me. http://www.seankreynolds.com/rpgfiles/drow/mnk.html
Notice that it is level 6 and has a spell resistance of 17.
