Movie to take my mind off another movie?

    [​IMG] Hey guys, this is probably weiird and the first thread of this kind that you've ever seen, but I saw The Butterfly Effect nearly a week ago and it's "bittersweet" ending keeps staying in my head and depressing me :mad: :(

    What I'm asking is: do you guys have any serious (so no comedies) but happy ending "feel good" types of movies to recommend? I thought about wayching my parents' Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers tapes but I'll only do that as a last resort if nobody has any suggestions that work for me.

    seen both. the first definitely wont do it, and jimmy stewart just wont do it for me this time :/

    I guess I'm asking for a relatively recent serious movie that ends up with a happy ending..

    Curse those bittersweet endings!

    I can take sad endings, no prob, but those kinda endings mess me up :/

    Hmm, The Usual Suspects.. that's actually not a bad idea. I'm gonna have to see if I can find my copy though..

    Ferris Bueler's Day Off would have been great but I can't find my copy :mad:

    I'll give it a try first with another run-through of Batman Begins
