I'm getting rather sick of ridiculous MUDs, so I turn to the good people of SP (I think I've done this before as well. Eh, long time ago now).
For those who don't know, a MUD is a multiplayer text based game. Recently I've been playing one called Materia Magica, but alas, roleplay there is mediocre, the landscape confusing passed the first area, and the enemies ridiculous.

So does anyone know of any good MUDs? Ones that enforces roleplay, have a large world that isn't overwhelmingly huge in any one area so that you never find anything, unrestricted player killing would be good - and would work perfectly if roleplay was enforced.

So, any MUDers out there to help me in my procrastination?

Edit: Oh, and ones in which there is no posibility whatsoever of being killed by a butterfly!

    Try Threshold - www.threshold.rpg.com

Almost exactly meets your requirements - enforced roleplay, large world, RPed PKing is allowed - the onlt difference is that chickens at the beginning of the game are rather challenging... but I suppose that's what their chicks are there for.
