Multiple Attack for multiclassed Character?

    huummm, how does it work? I'm lost! if a Figter multiclass into X class will he be able do to 4 attack per round or will he be restriced (spelling?) to his new class maximum attack? does only Fighter can have multiple attack as a Multiclassed caracter?

    In 3rd ed he retains all abilities, attack bonuses and no.of attacks, then gains additional abilities of new class.

    Dual classing in 2nd Ed is restrictive as you would regain abilities of previous class once you ascend one level higher in the new class.

    In 3E anytime your BAB is at +6 or higher you get another attack. You add the BABs from both classes together to get your BAB. All classes can get at least a 2nd attack although it may take mages a long time.
