Need help getting Arcanum to run on my PC

    Ok, I have arcanum: of steamworks and magick obscura installed on my computer.However, when I press play, i get a loading hourglass for about 10 seconds, then it disappears and arcanum doesnt start up.The game will not start.im on an old computer but im positive I meet the minimum requirements.I tried installing the patch but that doesnt work.What can I do?

    No Im using windows 98.I probably barely meet the minimum requirements.Have 64MB ram, no upgrades.
