Need help running Icewind Dale Badly!

    [​IMG] Whenever i try to run the game i receive an
    "assertion failed in ChVideo.cpp at line 5683
    /no valid video modes supported".Ive got all
    the options turned off on the configuration
    menu and the game wont even start.Id appreciate any help as im getting tired of looking at this game while not being able to play it.

    Based on the error message, it seems that when it tried to change the video mode (resolution and/or color depth) it had a problem. Did you select a resolution/color depth that your video board doesn't support?

    Although im not very computer literate,ive got it set on 16 bit with 640-480
