Nether scroll quest

    Hello all, while doing the nether scroll quest I picked the wrong answer in a discussion with Edwin- saying they were party treasure- which apparently disables the quest. Is there any way to correct this within my present game?

    From what I know saying that doesn't cancel the quest, someone may come along and prove me wrong now but if I remember correctly it takes I think about twenty in-game days until Edwin completely uses the scroll and the fun begins :roll:

    I think it disables the quest. I've no doubt there one, possibly two, globals you have to change to get it rolling.

    Extremist knows the answer to this one.

    I have SK so could change the global variables if I knew what to put.

    Edit: Hmm, I thought the SP fixpack might cure the problem but it refuses to install giving this message:
    Sys_error("SPfixpackSoA/Backup\\0\\AR2100.BCS: No such file or directory

    I have patched BG SOA, with DD1.02Q, SOulafein 67, and ease of use mods. Probably it's DD's fault. My present party is on the cusp of spellhold so this is Edwin's last call for this ride!
