It looks like this is one of the more interesting premium modules they put out. I went as far as to go on their website and check it out... then I was reminded that these modules require internet connection anytime you play.

For some reason, this bugs the heck out of me. So I gave up.

I can't play it because its not available on disk and I don't have internet on my gaming machine because I'm at Uni...

    Gah...Bioware is annoying. :(

And it looks to be really good fun too!! :(

It's a lot of fun. Too much repetition to be considered amazing, but... fun. There's far too much treasure though, and almost all the items look the same, and resurrection scrolls and spells don't work on hirelings, but other than that it's very good.

But the Waterdeep Supplement tells me it's only 9 levels deep.

It would be interesting to see how much of a dungeon crawl vs. fight pit it is. Alot of 1v1 fights would get boring fast, but a lot of minions and a smaller number of bosses could make the game quite fun.

Unfortunately I don't have $7.99 to spend right now to try the game out.

Anyone else played this then? Sounds intriguing but haven't heard much from you guys about it. It's on special at the moment.

If you like a good hack'n'slash it would be worth going for. Don't expect much RPing or story though.

Been playing ID for a few days...load times for moving to new areas are LOOONNGGG on my XP2000+. Fun game, but when I move from one level to another I have time to go get a frosty bev  , or go get rid of some of the frosty bev I have been imbibing.

BTW, it is more suited to character with a lot of muscle...lots of heavy drops and chests full of armor. Plus there aren't a lot of good NPCs to act as tanks for your casters, at least not at first.

Of cours if you are MPing it might be different.

I have it but I've yet to play it because my internet connection is intermittant at best. I started it once with a sorc 8\RDD 5 but I was killed the first enemy I came to.

I haven't played it because of "vizier de Guise". That's a bit like "pasha von Richthofen" or "caliph de Gaulle", you know.
