Purchased a HP 15.6" Laptop yesterday.

    Specs...

    CPU - AMD Athlon x2 QL 62 2.0Ghz
    RAM - 3GB of DDR2 677
    HD - 320GB HD 5400RPM
    GPU - Geforece 8200M
OS - Right now Vista Home Premium 32 bit; however, Window 7 32 on its way...

When I was looking I was hoping to find a HD with a 7200RPM and the newer Athlon II/Turion CPUS. Given the price and performance of the overall system I decied to go for it.

It is not mine laptop it is my wife's. I maybe getting one too in the near future. I plan to go with an intel i-5 or i-7, Windows 7 64, 4-6GB of DDR3 RAM, and Nvidia 240M or higher GPU.

Good deal for a email/web/word processor. Image/vieeo editing aren't out of the picture either. :)

She uses the PC for facebook, audio downloads, email, and to pay the bills.

I use the PC for home movies editing, gaming, and a few other things.

I decided to go purchase the ASUS G73 (I believe) Laptop.

    It has an 17" 1080P screen, i-7 920 CPU, 8GB of DDR3 ram, 1TB HDD, and a 5870 GPU for $1600.

Just waiting for it to come out now...
