Newbie question - Casting Spells

    I am playing a sorcerer but when you cast a spell, it only lists my spells up to Lv4. I can not see high level spells to cast in the list.

    Is there a key so I can list all the spells using cast spell (F7)?

    EDIT:

    I looked on a youtube video and am missing the over key for more spells.. Maybe this is a bug or something.

    Are you sure you're high enough level to cast those spells? If not, I don't think they show.

    When using the Cast Spell Icon in game, it only lists what spells you have chosen for your character. As a Sorcerer, you will never have spells in your reportoire that are beyond the level of spells you can cast whicih is determined by your class level. At creation you start with 64,000 XP and will be a level 7 Sorcerer with the capability of casting level 3 wizard spells. If you started with 161,000 XP by carrying your PC over from BG1, you will be level 8 with the capability of casting level 4 wizard spells. You don't get the higher level spells until you gather enough XP and level up.....

    If you do have spells above 4th level you may have to scroll the list across the spell bar.

    spell level is separate from character level. e.g. i didn't get level 5 spells*.. until my mage* was level 9 or w/e.

    sorry if i'm misreading the question.
