[IMG] Ok here's the Not So Offical Questions About NWN. This is a better place to post your questions about NWN instead of in the Whatnots.(Some how I got away with out getting that Idite of the week thing.) Ok so I'll start.

Ok I'v read as much as I could find on NWN for the last few days. I can find my ansers to these questions.

1.To my under standing when you are a DM or Player you cant be the other one. True or False?
2.Can you make an area to share with the world and then share it with the world(Yes). But can you give the person that you play the key to the back do so that he doesn't have to go throught the dungeon every time to put more treasure in it of the others on teh net to try and steal?
3.Is their just some way to creat your own castle to store all your goods so that others cant get it and I dont have to drag it around?
    4. Can I paly as a DM and Player but at different times?

Number four bothers me the most because I like to be teh DM but I also like to be a player.

[IMG] 1. Kinda. You can be both, logically, but not in the same game. Unless you DM a session to yourself. :D

You cannot be a DM and a player in ALFA, that holds true. But NWN is not an online-only game. There's a full single-player campaign too.

    2. I suppose so, if you make it like that in the module. (Presuming I understood your question more than 50%.)

    3. In one module, sure. How this is going to be handled for online vault characters remains to be seen. Maybe you'll have a private stash on the vault.

    4. Same as question 1, isn't it? If you don't play on ALFA, you can be whatever you want. Both at the same time, if you will.

Module, is that like what you make the campain in?

What I ment about question 2 is if I build a dungen off line then put it on line can I have my char. put his treasure in the dungen to store for other people to steal. Some nights I paly as my char. Other nights I play as DM in my dungen.

I will defently be playing the off line game before I go on line.

The way I picture, and please anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but it's the same as with a pen and paper game. If your DM allows you to draw up a stronghold to store away your cash, and includes it in the game, then of course the other players would be able to attempt to raid it and steal your money. If you DM doesn't allow you to do this, then you're on your own. Personally, as a DM, I wouldn't let you have an 'otherworldly' dungeon that you can hide your money in so that other players couldnt' get it, just doesn't seem realistic (like dragons and spells are realistic).
After rereading your post, I'm not sure if I hit exactly what you were asking for again, but I would say it's all up to your DM what and how he would work something like that. I mean, we can come up with all these cool vaults and secret doors, etc. but without our DM working with us, then the whole point is moot.
