    Hi all,

Just finished soa. Now I am wondering whether I should take sarevok or not. Any reply will be welcomed. My party consists of:
-me Kensai/mage (First time I play this char)
    -Korgan
-keldorn (I know he doesn't fit but i just love that sword and the true sight ability
    -viconia
    -jan
    -edwin
I'm thinking of sacking korgan but he's got the most kills in my party (More than 80%). I feel really bad to let him go. Any opinions??

    Thanks

In that party I'd sack Keldorn, but seeming as you would rather not Korgan would probably be better seeming as it would be sacking a fighter for a better fighter. Or maybe just keep it as it is, it's balanced enough

Why would you drop Korgan? Yes, he has a bit nasty personality, but as a fighter he simply rocks! Simply useable in any party.

Drop Keldorn, sell the lame sword, improve Jan's Detect Illusion so you don't need True Sight and take Sarevok. I'm not sure why anyone takes this NPC anyway. I really don't see a party he could fit into, except if you try to play the game with all-pallies party.
Plus I don't geddit how did you manage to keep both him and Viccy in the same party (Maze?).

Kick Keldorn, he simply doesn't fit in.

    Extremists,

In my games they have never exchanged hostile comments at all. I wonder why, I don't have any cheat or anything installed. the only thins i have is the latest patch. Hmm, OK, Maybe I'll drop keldorn, which best weapon should i give sarevok??any idea?
One more little question which might be stupid. How do i improve jan's detect illusion?? When i level up i don't think i have that option (or am i mistaken?).

He has a two-handed sword plus 3 and crossbow, so I'd say any decent Two-Handed sword, seeming as that is what he is most proficient in

Paladins can make good contributions to a team. Inquisitors are the best paladin-type. Keldorn has one of the best stat sets of any NPC. Keldorn is a good NPC to have on a team.

Keldorn would not usually approve of this team. I'm surprised you made it through SOA without the happy patch.

In TOB, Keldorn will be able to resurrect people should that be needed (Blessed Bracers). True Sight is a GREAT ability. (I was under the impression that the thief skill [check there] would only allow the thief to detect illusion and not the rest of the party.) Carsomyr is an excellent weapon and is a nice addition to a team of 6. Finally, he can bring in Devas QUICKLY, freeing Edwin to do more important things than summoning Planetars.

Korgan is a good fighter. Sarevok is a very good fighter.

The Soul Reaver works well against some bosses, but don't feel like you have to stick with 2-hand weapons throughout TOB. The Psion's blade will come in handy. With greater whirlwind, weapon selection is not as important as it would be otherwise.

    Thanks

When you level up and have a chance to improve your thief skills, detect illusion is one of the abilities that can be improved. All of the thief abilities will not be shown on screen at once. You must scroll down the list.

True Sight/Seeing is also a sixth level mage spell, or a fifth level cleric spell, so you don't need Kelly
