NPC Voices in BG games

    I really was amazed, though perhaps I should not have been, there were only a few professional "actors/actresses"' voices used for the NPC's in the BG series. I found it sort of "cute" that the voice used for pushy, or in her own words "bitchy", Jaheria ended up the same actress to make the voice for "bitchy" Amellysan.

    I thought it was interesting to note some others as well. When I mention the NPC I am referring to the actor or actress that was employed to do the character's voice.

    "Minsc" is Khan Zahraa, the Dao Jinn Leader and also the Alibakkar lord guy in Trademeet.

    "Branwen" is the Luraxxol Lady in Trademeet.

    "Jan" is Kiser the thief in Saradush.

    "Xan" is the Captian of Sendai's forces before you slaughter them all.

    There were many others but I don't remember them right now. Everytime I play I listen out for these actors' and actresses' voices and try to match whose voice is for which NPC.

    Does anyone know how to find out in the crdits who played which character?

    Has anyone else noted some voices like this?

    You get the credits if you beat the game. Try looking there. I think there might be a way to get the credits from a menu or something, but I can't remember what it is.

    The same guy that did Minsc's Voice, did the Guard Captains voice in the animated film Shrek. It's easy to tell it's him. I also believe he did Mad Cat in chip'n'dale, but not sure.

    I recognized a few voices myself (of course, I forget most of them), but I do know that the character who did Jon Irenicus' voice played in one of the Ninja Turtles movies, probably the second one (Secret of the Ooze)...
