Just in case anyone missed this and fancies the chance to work in the games industry, Bioware are recruiting for someone to help out with the NWN communitty. The job description is:

Neverwinter Nights Community Manager; BioWare is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist the community support efforts for Neverwinter Nights. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent written communication skills, have experience providing customer support, and voluminous knowledge of online video games. Experience within the game industry is a benefit, but is not required. Experience in promotional or marketing roles is also a benefit.

Duties will include acting as a liaison between BioWare and the Neverwinter Nights community, providing a direct information conduit between community-based module creators, dungeon masters and the Neverwinter Nights Development Team, and serving as the community's representative at BioWare.

Please note BioWare is a Canadian company and given that the position is full-time onsite at BioWare, candidates will need to be eligible for immigration to Canada.

PS If you get it, remember your friends at Sorcerer and send us lots of beta tests and also try and convince them that they should give Slappy a job to work from home in the UK :D

Ah, yes, I saw that posted about a month ago. Seriously considered it too. Sounds like a fun, very enjoyable position. But that would mean my wife and I relocating across the country, and we love our current home. Alas... :(

For anyone seriously considering it, I thought I would give fair warning for non-Canadians. Bioware is located in Edmonton, Alberta. A nice, Canadian city with a lot of character (and a pretty good hockey team :)). But it's darn cold in winter. *Very* cold. Vehicles not plugged into a block heater will not start if left for any length of time. And if you like skiing, you're just a couple of hours from some of the best alpine skiing on the continent.

I'm interested in job like that one.

BUT I'M NOT INTERESTED IN NWN JOBS. Ok, maybe I'd swallow NWN if there wasn't Bugoware around it...
So, consider me as one less candidate.
Anyway, I suggest Kit as SP's representative. ;)

Still, anyone knows if Troika Games offers employments?
