    Howdy-ho, fellow forumdwellers!

Ever since I did my multiplayer-created party of adventurers (mainly for roleplay reasons), I couldn't help but think what would've happened if those characters were actually talking back to me - so I got this idea, which seems to be sparking on and about often in the minds of Baldur's Gate fans everywhere - why not run a daily/weekly adventure with real people and roleplay it out?

Obviously, this would start all the way from Candlekeep and end up right up until the Throne of Bhaal, including the final battle and the fateful choice.

I've seen people complain about how parts of the game (especially the evil side) are badly written -- then re-write the "script" as you wish by participating as a member of a group - be it a merry band of goody-two-shoes adventurers, or a struggling and ruthless mercenary group... it doesn't matter, the players *are* the story.

Of course, this requires a lot of time, planning, relatively close timezones (or a flexible time schedule), identical installations for each companion, a character they'd stick through no matter what, lots of testing, along with reasonable, intelligent and charismatic roleplayers. I'm willing to help organize, but this project cannot start off without the heart and soul -- the roleplayers themselves.

As a group, it will be most interesting to keep a small "personal" journal running here on Sorcerer's Place - depicting our journeys from each character's point of view, and their impressions from their other traveling companions... can the party leader keep them from bickering or will the group adapt to new challenges fast?

If you're interested in incarnating an interesting, roleplay-intensive adventurer, whereas character development is more important than good loot, then please post below with your timezone, availability schedule, and possibly a short character bio to break the ice.

Can you folks prove me you are willing to join and keep running such a project, or am I merely stricken by delusions of grandeur?

If this thread gets enough favorable replies, I will also post a biography of my own character (although he needs not be the main Bhaalspawn himself).

Until then, have a nice day.

    -Ziggy
