The party turned right along the corridor, across checquered tiles. The torches in the wall brackets attacked them. (Pity they didn't elect to only step on the light coloured tiles) and a giant Bombadier beetle attacked from in front. Milla, Majikus and Jakob disabled the torches while Hayden and Mistle overcame the beetle, Hayden getting sprayed by acid.

They checked out a storage room on the left. It seemed to contain magic weapons and treasure chests! Hayden advanced but a magic mouth laughed, the illusionary treasure turned into junk and Hayden was hit in the chest by a cone of cold. Grimly they continued.

The next room was the main dinng hall, hung with mouldering tapestries and containing a large table and chairs and a pile of furniture. Out of the shadows a trio of werewolves attacked. Hayden's trusty axe did no damage so Mistle tossed him her silver dagger. Milla switched to the magic morningstar and Jakob let rip with silver bolts. Even Majikus used the last of his spells to imbue his staff and join the fray. At last the werewolves were defeated, but not before biting Hayden, Mistle and Milla. These three sat down to cure and rest while Jakob and Majikus explored a room on the other side of the corridor. It contained the eggs of a giant Bombadier beetle, one of which Majikus smashed.

750 xps to Hayden, Jakob and Milla
800 xps to Majikus and Mistle
