Anybody doing anything special?

Darien, Satiana - did you get any flowers from your manly stud man or just the usual random secret admirer?

Right now I'm burning the Smashing Pumpkins heart (the SP) on the back of the picture frame for my friend (yeah, the same girl I had the dream about). either that or "Love Always", I dunno yet. I gotta wait the thing to heat up. The picture is a black and white photograph I took/developed when I was in highschool. It's my absolute favorite picture and by far my most prized possession n I want her to have it. No possession is greater than her friendship.

 

Good morning, Vandalore. Thanks for asking. Yeah, I got a browning handful of frozen roses (one of which was only an empty stem) and a box of chocolates. I hate chocolates...

 

You hate chocolates? No! I know what you mean, they get old after awhile. Chocolate icecream on the other hand, yeaaaaah.. you can eat that til your hearts content. Good stuff. Sorry about the one ass flower. Did he notice that it was only a stem when he gave it to you? Eh, I'm sure he'll make it up to you.

I didn't end up burning the heart thing in the wood. I practice on a small chunk of wood, I found out I have no talent when it comes to burning. Although, I did use my silver paint to do the SP heart (xcept I put a "M" in the middle - it's what I go by) then to the right of it "-Always". Okay, it kinda sounds retarded trying to explain it. You'd have to see it. Well shtt, I gotta do my homework. Somehow I feel asleep on the couch again last night and "forgot" about my homework when I was doin this whole project thing.

 

Actually, it sounds really great! I'm sure she'll like it. Something with a lot of thought behind it... hmmm... there's an idea! Have a great day!!

 

Vandalore/Darien - Nothing special going on for V-Day, just school and work as usual. Duties and responsibilities...No play for me today!

So it's good to hear you guys have someone special to share the day with. Wonder, what Duskai is doing today? Hmmm....<<Belisarius scratches his beard as he ponders this....>>LOL!

sigh.. Valentine.. never understood what people find romantic about millions of couples who all do on exact the same day exact the same thing. Luckily there are still people with fantasy around, who actually do something really special, good one Vandalore! That friend of yours isn't aware of what she's denying, but no doubt her eyes'll open sooner or later.

Anyway, that's a nay to your question, no special person in my life at the moment.. oh wait, that ain't correct, problem however is that I don't know her address, not to mention it's too late to send flowers across the Atlantic in time

What concerns Valentine's Day, I fully agree with Lord Bane. One of my former girlfriends said: "Women should be loved, cherished and given flowers and chockolates every day. They are worth it". If you do it just one day per year - sounds like a lame excuse for me. So either you do it all the way or just don't pretend.

Heh, exactly, although flowers and chocolates every day ain't good either as far as I'm concerned. Tmust really become a bore after a while, don't you think ?

Anyway, twere also my plans for tonight, Mo, but an unfortunate throat infection has annulated that

 

Start by calling her/or him (as the case may be) early in the day...Start the playing ealry, and give them soemthing to think about for the rest of the day until they see you.

I've never done the chocolates thing...That can backfire, so I steer clear of them. As far as flowers, I usually give them when they are least expected...They have more value then. I rarely give them on V-Day, I try to think up something a little less traditional/expected.

I've given things I've drawn or made - Something that lets them know how special they are...That you made an extra effort.

More 2 cent opinions from me...Try them - let me know how it goes!

 

Well, c'mon guys, don't dig into the words. Flowers and chockolates were just an example. I meant you need to give them attention every day, that's all.
