First time through on TOB and I'm using a created party. This party gets it's arse kicked frequenlty and part of the reason is the equipment. Not only is the game stingy with what it gives you, I'm all ready at the mountains and can't seem to buy or find decent rings, girdles, belts, or gauntlets.

So my question finally is, if I take a party from BOG 2 SOA does all of it's equipment transfer as well, including spells? If I take a party can I still dump one for another where the idols are at the beginning of the game?

    thank you

[IMG] Bringing a party forward from SoA keeps all of their equipment and spells. You also get an amulet from Elliseme (which you would have with the new party anyway) and I think you also get a bag of holding with some items in. :)

You can reform your party there if you really want to - but it is best to wait until you get to the pocket plane.

Firstly, if you take a party from SOA through, then you carry all equiptment and spells with you. EVERYTHING carries over.

As for dumping members... if you drop one in the glade clearing at the start you cant come back for them. You might be able to summon them via the pocket plane, but they are unlikely to have any of their equiptment. I'd suggest leaving them in your poket plane itself. That way you can pick them up at any time you want, if you so desired.

[Edit:] looks like 8 beat me to the punch. :p

If TOB remains as sparse with doodads as it's started out, then I will bring a party forward. Thanks for the information.

WARNING - don't store anything in chests etc. in Athkatla and expect to be able to access them in TOB.

You will exchange large parts of the doodads from SoA in ToB in time but quite a few items are good throughout the game. What I do everytime I have started a ToB game is to SK in all SoA items I want as the crappy +3 things you get from the start are useless.

A large chunk of the ToB ecquipment can be found in the Watchers Keep dungeon so doing that as quick as possible is recommended.
