Kovalis... it's not you, the game is old. however, it's still one of the best out there. i just started over again, the options available in the game make it very re-playable.

It's just you. :D Sorry. Maybe it's just me, but PST has yet to get old for me. Granted, I've yet to actually finish the game more then once or twice (too much Morrowind), but I still enjoy it.

My intentions were not to insult the game, only to say that it is indeed a very old game. I remember when it was a very new game, and that makes me feel very old...

Peak schmeak. PC gamer recently said the Infinity Engine and its games were 'creaking with age,' but that doesn't mean they no longer rule. A game doesn't have to display the latest technology to kick ass. It's still at it's peak, IMO because it displays a level of sophistication in it's storyline and thought that many of the more recent games have yet to top, flashy new graphics and all.

Ha, HA, that's nearly my point of view. The problem is, some fools say "hey, that graphic is outdated, old, rusty". Then Software producers get scared:" We're loosing it, we're outdated, we need new flashy graphics". What's the result ? The throw a perfect working game concept over board and replace it with shiny graphics, bad gameplay and lousy storyline.

 Oh, Oh my God! Yago and I agree on something! I...I...ow, my head...(thud!)

    * Death Rabbit has an annurism, slumps over *

Whew. That was a shocker. :)

I can think of at least 3 games right now that fit precisely that description. I don't care if a game spends 2 years in development and the graphics are sub-par. It's the story and the gameplay that keeps you playing through it 50 times (hence, why I found Sorcerer's Place :D )

That is so true, and in my opinion the best games are the ones like PS:T and the BG series. Shame in some ways that everyones going first person views and full 3D.
