I finally got tutu to work, thanks to 8people, Deathmage, Ragusa and Taza :) Not only can you choose a kit for yourself now, but all the single class NPCS as well! :whoa: Anyone have any suggestions? I'm really thinking about making Imoen a Swashbuckler, Minsc a Beastmaster, Kivan a Archer and Ajantis a Cavalier to name a few.

I'll put what I did for my NPC.

    Safana: Assasin
    Imoen: Normal Thief
    Kivan: Archer
Dynaheir: Sorcerer (she is a witch after all)
Minsc: Normal Ranger (Beastmaster don't appeal to me for him, I don't remember why..)
Khalid: One time I made him Kensai and the other Barbarian.
    Xzar: Specialized Mage
    Ajantis: Cavalier
    Faldorn: Avenger ( I think)
Garrick: Blade (I love this class)

Anyway I don't remember all of them but that how I put them.

Minsc as a beastmaster means he can't use any metal wepaons. Half of his comments refer to swords so I think it's a bit out of place for him.

Kivan as an archer, Ajantis as a cavalier and Faldorn as an avenger seem to be perfect fits. I don't think the remainder have a strong predilection for kits one way or the other.

Why make Safana an assassin? It is stated clearly in her biography that she used to travel with pirates, so swashbuckler seems the more logical choice.

Having a cavalier in BG1 is much like having an inquisitor in BG2. Durn useful. The most annoying enemies you will face are poison dealing enemies like ettercaps, spiders and wyverns. A lot of enemy casters favor Horror in Bg1.

Not to mention the innate 20 percent fire resistance plus the two rings of fire resistance available and helmet of defense means a perfect decoy while your mages rain down fireballs on top of the enemy.

Making Minsc a beastmaster is really cool, and his wielding a staff is quite good, especially if you have Tales of the sword coast.

But watch out, it is wise to have one persone that can wield a sword (basterd), you'll thank me very later on.

Read the kit description more closely -- being a swashbuckler doesn't imply anything at all about being associated with pirates.....
