    [​IMG] Tonight I was browsing through Mr. Monte Cook's site: probably one of my favorite people when it comes to hobbies (his site's montecook.com), and I was looking through his design gallery, about stuff on Arcana Unearthed.

    I admit it: I'm a D&D purist. I'm against Psionics, new core classes and races, and even official Prestige Classes (Archmage? Ew!) But Arcana Unearthed just looked so... promising. It's an entirely different take on D&D, one that seems more exotic, and to be plain, fun.

    Not to mention the idea of balance. Magic and the fighter classes seem to be more balance and reasonable. All in all, it sounds like some rules are more reasonable than the ones in 3E/3.5E, mainly because the designer of AU helped design 3E D&D, and had knew the problems of the latter.

    So what I'd liike to know is that if there's anyone out there who's played Arcana Unearthed, and if it's interesting/fun. I admit that I have no real intention to get into one AU game at the moment, but it definitely looks like a promising thing to look into in the future.

    EDIT: I forgot to place an "I didn't play AU" option in question #2. Oops. You should probably vote 3 if you didn't play it, it being the middle-of-the-road choice.

    I haven't play it nor does I have a lot of information on it, so I voted No/3 As you have said, 3 may represente I haven't play it. It might be a heretic question but what is Arcana Unearthed?

    Rotku I believe I can fly Veteran Pillars of Eternity SP Immortalizer (for helping immortalize Sorcerer's Place in the game!) New Server Contributor [2012] (for helping Sorcerer's Place lease a new, more powerful server!)
