    As the title says.
Question 1 is Expertise vs Power Attack

Question 2 is Expertise chain vs Power Attack chain

Note that feats requiring both Expertise and Dodge don't belong here. For the purpose of this poll Expertise chain is Expertise, Improved Disarm and Improved Trip. Power Attack chain is Power attack, (Great) Cleave, Improved Bull Rush, Sunder.

Please no feat descriptions, opinions only.

This is intended to be a theoretical discussion, but in this particular case I'm thinking of a tank and not a rogue or intelligent ranger for whom expertise & dodge chains are natural. I'm not thinking about long reach weaponry such as guisarme, glaive etc or of a dire flail where improved disarm is the first thing that comes to your mind.

[IMG] As a great fan of the fighter class, I'll always take both feat trees.

Expertise and power attack are equally wonderful feats.

I'd say they are both equal. The better feat depend on what kind of character you plan to play, in this case power attack, though expertise would eventually become helpful, though not its chain.
