[IMG] Well, now you've played all of them - which music is better?

BTW, does anyone know where this music can be downloaded - you can't play it from the game files. (don't say fileplanet)

[IMG] I think the overall music in all three parts is incredible.

As far as music themes for different locations are concerned, I prefer SOA and TOB. Every location has its own music and gives a feeling for the surrounding.

I think there is *.acm to *.wav converter on this site which works fine for all the BG Series Games.

    cheers

If you talk about downloading music from licensed games I understand this as Warez which is not allowed here on SP (spared Tal some work :) ).
However there is a guide somewhere here(i saw it a month ago  ) just go to search and type music or something ;) :D

Yeah music is great in all BG series but i prefer ones from BG2 and especialy ToB

Opening music goes to BG2 although they all are quite good.

Area music goes to ToB (which uses some of BG2's music plus new and better compositions as well.)

Battle music is the hardest. They all are good, but I rank in this order: BG, ToB, BG2. Yeah, I like BG's battle music.

Romance/Character Themes goes to BG2 because I don't think ToB expounded enough on this to warrant it being better. And BG didn't really have this.

    Looks like Baldur's Gate 2 wins by a longshot! :D :D

I personally liked the BG I music the best since it was far more dramatic than the other games, with the chorus and all, but it seemed like the crescendos and the fortississimos of the BG II music prevailed to most of our ears.

Area music was obviously going to go to BG II, since it had the most. (BG I was too old for the high quality stuff)

I probably wasn't fair to BG I for other music, but it seems like BG II had the most of it.

This poll gives another reason why this game is the best computer RPG ever made!
