    The Cadaverous Undead really helps if you're starting a brand new party (levels 3 and 4) and playing Heart of Fury with Heart of Winter installed. It does make a difference in the Veil, when you're trying to make level 11 and head to the Isle of the Dead.

    But Salamanders help late game in both the addon, and the main.

    ditto here, ej. Those drowned dead alone on the Isle of the Dead were enough to make me glad my ranger had cadaverous undead as a racial enemy. Nappy heifers.
