No way, on the Random Babbling, hearing them all at once would be pure madness!

[IMG] Funnily enough no, same reason, if they had sounds to them, each one would play at the same time. Cute as you think they are, and think even cuter with sounds, you are off your head.
And imagine the work for Tal, can't wait to see his reply here...

I don't see how this would be possible, even if we wanted to do it. (We don't.)

Not to mention most smilies are facial expressions you can't really associate a sound with.

[IMG] to be possible, you would need a computer that could read your mind and know when you were looking at each individual smiley and be able to play the respective sound at that precise moment.

In short, it's impossible. ;)

Also, i agree with everyone else, you'd just get seriously narked and start to come back here less, and less.

    -Intentioner.

To be possible, all you'd need is a computer with speakers that can play a sound file when you click on the smiley you want to hear. I think all computers with speakers fall under that category. There ARE sites with lists of sounds, you know, and you don't hear them all at the same time.

[IMG] Good idea, we could just have the sounds when you click on the smilies. How about it?
    Can I make the sounds?

[IMG] So who exactly would click on smilies to hear them? And how often? Once, twice, a dozen times?

I know I wouldn't....maybe once to hear what it sounded like, but that's it.....and if I ever selected something like :wail: , I'd be doing my own wailing too loud to give a rat's ass what this thing sounded like! :D

I agree. Smilies with sound don't make sense.
However, one sound associated with a thread (by the person who starts the thread) is feasible, I imagine. Although I wonder how much added value that would bring, and all the possibilites for abuse.

Of course not. What I was saying is what would be the point of having them then, if they wouldn't listen? :heh:
