Anyone seen that old, corny Australian show? They showed the last episode, 692, last night and I was close to crying, and I have only seen ~150 of them. Great show, great ending.

My mom used to follow that show way back. I think I have seen a few dozen episodes. Quite decent as soap operas go. For prison series I prefer Oz though.

The Living End do a great cover of that theme song.

I haven't seen much of the series itself but I've heard nothing but rave reviews about it.

Sorry I thought you were going to talk about the TV series the Prisoner (British 60's program that was one of the best programs ever made).

But I think you are talking about Prisoner Cell Block H (well that's what it was called here, I think).

Anyway not only did I watch it (it was on after I finished work at about four in the morning) but I saw the theatre version with most of the original cast.

Never have I laugher so much - a classic for all the wrong reasons.

Don't mock Prisoner. When it was first aired in USA, episode 1 had 25% of the viewers. It have won several awards and the one who played Rita Connors have won two for her act in the serie herself.
