Problem with Blacklake: Unrest quest

    [​IMG] I released the dryad, and took pity on the evil sorcerer, securing the key to his warehouse in the process. Unfortunately, when I talked to the quest-giver, I said that I got the key but I didn't kill the sorcerer, although I would kill him shortly. Unfortunately, I remember him dissolving after giving me the key. Is there a way I can finish the quest?

    I think that once you've met and dealt with Meldanen he's gone for good, whether you killed him or not. You won't be able to go back and kill him to claim the rewards for that part of the quest. You should, however, have received a reward for the key part. If you just want to clear your journal, try talking to the quest giver again and state that you won't kill Meldanen - that might annul the rest of the quest.
