[IMG] Alright, this started happening a couple weeks ago. Every once in a while, randomly, the monitor would just shut itself off. I would try adjusting the settings, but it wouldn't work. Only after a restart would it be fixed. However, now it shuts off during a restart, and I can only actually see anything in safe mode. It shuts off at the same exact time now every time. I have tried two system restores to months ago, but it is still a problem. All wire connections are fine too. Has anyone had a similar problem that they have fixed?

Note: I am on a different computer right now, and the problem is with a brand new computer (December).

What else is going on in the house? Other power issues?

Your drivers might be interfering with safe mode. Update your drivers (somehow) and see if that solves it.

Which ones? And I can't see anything unless it is in safe mode...

Try to isolate the problem: connect the problematics monitor to the other PC, to see if it's a monitor or a driver/videocard problem.

I tried that, and it is the monitor problem. I think it is still under warranty or somesuch, so when my dad gets back, we'll get it fixed.
