Problems with crashing and query about patches

    Was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem before? After about an hour into the game the character portraits all start flashing and then, when I enter the option menu thats starts falshing aswell before the game finally crashes. Has anyone seen this before + does anyone know if the patches will help. This brings me to my second question.

    The box for my copy of BG2 states that it's a european version so I started downloading the European patch. Once I came to install it I found there wasn't an English installation language. Is this still the patch I want or should I go for the English Patch?

    BGII-ThroneofBhaal_Patch_26498_ENGLISH.exe
    Get it here.

    The "European" patch is only intended for users playing the German, French, Italian or Spanish versions.
