Just fishing for players here - not sure if anyone's going to be interested.

    http://www.earlham.edu/~peters/nomic.htm

The game is, essentially, one where you create your own rules during play by voting. Now, while the guy who wrote the system managed to make it sound incredibly dull - I think this idea kicks arse :p

Would anyone be interested in playing a game with this 'system', before I get into suggesting settings or anything else?

Edit: And yes, there will probably be some modification required before the rules even work as an RPG - but that's kinda the point :p

I've taken a glance at your link. Right now I don't have time to add on something.

I wonder if this would work well in a forum RPG. It seems to me it would be more suited to a game where everyone can get together at the same time.

I would say that it would only work in PBP :p (or another non-real time format like PBeM). It's a game that requires too much detail and thinking to work in real time - as well as split focus (one focusing on the rules and the other the played out game). From what i read on a Nomic forum it sounds like a game in real time would have to be a good deal less detailed in order for it to keep things moving.

So yeah - I really can't see how it's suited to real time, or how it's not suited to PBP :)
