    Hi All,

    I'm new to this board.

According to the BG2 manual (and it was in practise in BG1), either the host or the client can play the protaganist in BG2.

However on the intro screen in BG2 for both the host and client, the stone which shows the player name under each character is greyed out for the protaganist. For all other 5 characters, the host can assign himself or anyone else to the character, and the client can assign himself or anyone else to the character. But for some very strange reason the player name is greyed out under the protaganist character on both the host and client machines.

I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem.

Many thanks by the way for your response.
